M.Tech Cyber-Physical Systems is a two-year course. Cyber Physical Systems deal with both computing and sensing technology. In the temperature control technology of your smartphones, this is achieved by using smart thermostats that can learn from users’ behaviour, and adjust temperature settings accordingly through Cyber-Physical Systems.
Cyber Physical Systems refer to the integration of physical and cyber components, where physical components include sensors, actuators, and other devices, and cyber components include computing, communication, and control systems. Similarly, CPS is also employed in smart homes and buildings to control lighting, heating, and other systems in order to optimize energy usage and improve comfort.
The course curriculum includes both theoretical and practical aspects of Cyber-Physical Systems, and it aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to design, develop, and implement CPS in a variety of industries.
